People who like to take pictures and try to capture that time and space in their memories always have dreams.
It's a photo exhibition that displays my photos.
However, it is a bit different to display photos at a photo exhibition organized by a photo group or at an officially recognized event. Although overseas photo exhibitions have received quite a few awards, the word "photo exhibition" was just a tip of the imagination that stuck in my head.
It finally happened to me, too.
I've been constantly challenging something, but I still don't know what to do with the time that's suddenly approaching me at once.
First of all, I should run with my face and look forward to the luck of a beginner.
Now, I have to make time to participate in my event. I'm scared and excited.
My Photo
The following is an introduction to this photo exhibition.
This photo exhibition is a huge photo-related festival held at the Korean branch of Fujifilm. In addition, the headquarters of Fujifilm in Japan has supported the event and provides various support. The effort to create a culture is already reaching its third anniversary. In this photo exhibition, 15 winners in the series category and 20 winners in the short photo category were produced. My photograph was selected in the short photo category among them. This next picture is a poster about the photo exhibition.

My photo was selected as an official selection at the IPA Photo Contest,
one of the prominent overseas competitions.
The picture that I participated in this photo exhibition is the following picture The appearance of the water lily flower, which was purified cleanly by the early morning rain the previous day, was so beautiful.
Morning after the rain
It is titled Morning after the rain. After a long rain from the night before until dawn, the sun started to rise and I hurried out to the park early in the morning to take this water lily.
I only checked the email last night, and I received the selection congratulatory email as below.
Although I haven't officially won the award yet. After another screening process, the final award will be decided. I have to wait another month. But I received only one photo before this exhibition, so I'm very satisfied with the result. 😂😊

세상의 모든 모난 것들이
둥글게 젖는 시간에 서서
무수한 점들이 제 몸을 굴려
옹이 같은 방울로 스미는 것을 본다
만개한 아침이 껴안은 것은
홀로 깊고 어두운 밤 중의 밤

It seems to go very well with the poem I transcribed today, so I'm posting it again. It is a beautiful poem from the last episode of the Korean drama "Unknown Seoul." It is a beautiful poem that expresses the rain in the early morning with beautiful words.
I received one email today that said I won two Honourable Mentions at Tokyo International Foto Awards. I applied for two works for this year's 2024 contest and I'm so happy to receive both awards. I'm a little upset because I received only one email even though I received two awards. 🤣😂

This year, I welcomed a new morning in my life. I post it here because the flower in the picture looks like it has bloomed in the morning when it opens a new dawn.
I have been photographing as a hobby and I am active in Guri,Korea. For my own expression method, I take various flower photos and use a scanner to work on photography. So a small flower in the soil became a pleasant secret in my heart.
In my dream, I saw walking on the field path of autumn. It wasn't that sunny, but I think only good things will happen if I walk along the path where the cosmos is blooming.

Anyway, today is a very good day. The economy is bad these days and the situation in our country is unstable, but I hope many good things will happen this year. 🙏
On the day the president of Korea here declared emergency martial law, I received an email saying that I received an award at this photo exhibition.
On this day, I didn't even know I had an email because I kept watching the news about this disturbing situation.
Here in Korea, we are still in a state of political instability. Still, I am very grateful that the people of our country fortunately prevented emergency martial law. 🙏
In 2022 and 2023, I received the HM in this photo exhibit. Still, I'm so happy to receive the statue this year.

'This is a picture that I took on June 11, 2023, at Jangja Lake Park in Guri. It was amazing because it bloomed early in the cosmos. It was a mysterious experience like a fairy tale.'

I'm a member of a photo app called 500px.com , and I'm a favorite photo community.
It is less famous than Instagram and has fewer users, but I think there are many things I can learn from it because there are many high-quality photos posted. However, I am very happy that the photo uploaded with the transcription of Han Kang's poem was selected by the editor's choice.

I was so happy because it had never been chosen before.
I have a little bit of a pity in this community these days. There are a lot of high quality photographs, but nowadays there are a lot of photographs that reveal too explicit body parts that cannot be considered high quality. I don't want to welcome this atmosphere of sexizing a woman's body. Of course, the community here has made it possible to get permission from the viewer again without being exposed at once, but I feel a bit tired because of too many of these photos being exposed. I hope that other measures will be implemented quickly and become a more authoritative and good-looking community.
I received an e-mail on August 29th. The title of the e-mail is as follows.
