This time, I'm going to deal with a poem about heaven. It's very short and concise, but it depicts heaven as a beautiful place. Also, he doesn't think living in heaven will be fun or happy.
I went to heaven By Emily Dickinson
I went to heaven, 'T was a small town, Lit with a ruby, Lathed with down. Stiller than the fields At the full dew, Beautiful as pictures No man drew. People like the moth, Of mechlin, frames, Duties of gossamer, And eider names. Almost contented I could be 'Mong such unique Society.
For many religions, heaven is the most ideal area, it is also called paradise, and it is the most perfect place to be religiously imagined. On a snowy day like today, I think it may look like a beautiful place where white snow has fallen and turned white.
I went to heaven
I post videos and photos of this poem transcribed.
The original manuscript
Originally, I thought the original photo was more fantastically compatible with heaven, but now that I posted it here, it looks a little weird. 😂😒

This poem that I've just posted here is a poem that I wrote in early December.
The President illegally declared a martial law on Dec. 3, but conscientious South Korean soldiers protested the president's order and many citizens blocked it, ultimately failing the martial law.
As I watched this process, I thought that the emergency martial law failed as a result of our nation's soldiers protesting against orders from illegal and unreasonable superiors and failing to follow directions properly.
On that cold winter night, I wrote down this poem, imagining that these soldiers would have hesitated and balked very much at the orders of their irrational superiors.

My disobedience_20241203
heart-wrenching cold wind
leaning his helmet against the rattling window
with a deep sigh
Tightened my boots with all my strength
Couldn't take a step further
Knew I was suffocating
Have the strength to stand in my place and endure it
Thought it would break like a wilted flower
That heavy step
It's been a slow, slow walk
_ You are not guilty

I linked a Cosmos photo here. I picked a photo that was a tiny, slender flower but looked like it was rebelling.
2024 was a year full of many changes and great twists and turns for me, and I think the Republic of Korea also had a very difficult time. Our country could have sunk with just one mistake. The people of the Republic of Korea and the National Assembly ran to Yeouido to prevent this, and the soldiers of the country defended the democracy that their seniors had built up under the name of mutiny.
In that sense, I wrote down this humble article.
The subject of my own poem to post today is a water lily taken in a pond in a park in late September. I believe you'll see why I wrote this poem when you look at this picture.
Waiting for winter..
The water lily is a flower that normally blooms for a long time. However, when the weather gets cold, it usually sinks below the water and waits for next year to get into hibernation.
This year, the summer has been unusually long, so the water lilies remained open until the end of September due to the continuous hot weather.
I imagined that this water lily would have clear memories of last year's winter. So I imagined that this water lily would prepare for the upcoming winter by coming up with memories one by one in the cold wind, snow, and ice.
Waiting for winter..
So cold and lifelike
Remember the snow storm
The green warmth fell to the ground
Remember the calm waves of the cooled lake
When the frost falls here
Her laughter slowly disappears
A shabby empty pocket with nothing to give
I'm fiddling
Have to say goodbye to half of my life
To the sun in the late morning
With long words in regret
Hold my arms around my heart
Preparing for a very long, long sleep

First, I write and edit poems in Korean and then transfer them to English. If you think the meaning of the poem is not well conveyed because I am not good at translating into English, please contact me immediately.

This time, I wrote down a poem after seeing a picture of a cosmos swaying in the wind.
The morning of this day I could see the sun slowly shining, and the wind was not very strong, not very small, but moderate. At the same time, I discovered a fantastic and clear cosmos and captured it on a camera with the wind. I took pictures and edited them, and the flowers in this picture looked very peaceful and uncomfortable. I wrote this feeling in a poem.
In the wind that tickled my earlobes..
In the wind that tickled my earlobes..
A night of sobbing, sobbing, falling asleep exhausted
The traces of tears shed in the deep darkness
The green wind washed it away
And then the wind whirls around me like it's about to touch me
Raising me up with a cold in my heart
Lead me with light, one step at a time
There, there
Pat me on the drooping shoulder
There, there
pat me on the head
In the wind that tickles my earlobes
I'm alive

I'm going to try something new starting today.
I have been transcribing various poems since a long time ago. As I practiced pen writing, my interest in poetry increased a lot. I started practicing both Korean and English transcription at the same time. So interest in English poetry also increased. Too long writing was a bit of a burden, so I transcribed relatively short poems. Of course, I liked reading and appreciating poems before then.
As I transcribed poetry like this, I thought I should write my own writing. The hobby of transcribing is so great, and it's wonderful to interpret, learn, and appreciate good writings. But I felt like I wanted to write my own writing.
Up until now, I had read good poems, transcribed them, and selected pictures that would go with them. As a result, there were sometimes forced matches, and there were unnatural combinations. In fact, I thought the only way to prevent this was to look at the photos I took and write them down on my own.
However, it is not a burden to write your own writing. I wish I could write well, but it seems more so because I can't admit it myself.
But I'm still going to try it. So I'm going to start today.
Light drops.. / Experiment04
Light drops..
To see you on this green day
I wake up in the middle of
that common morning
I must have gone a long way
Calm down the tears of dawn
Trying to dress up in a hurry
Waiting for the dawn of time alone
I'm going with a drop of light up
From you, tiny little one

The video below is a transcription of this poem.
Light drops..
This picture was taken on a bright morning in early October this year. The dew was beautifully set in the background and the sun was shining warmly. I think it's right to solve your problems a little further away. I'll continue to post this and that. Then I hope you have a good day. 🙏
The poem I transcribed today is David Herbert Lawrence's poem Silence.
The silence in this poem also means death, and it also means the behavior of a person who has lost words after a breakup. I understood that the poet recognized silence as a way of expressing sound. It may mean a history of pain in which people cannot tell the truth by opening their mouths. It sometimes developed into resistance and became a driving force to change history. When I read this poem, I think it is composed of a calm and powerful language. The last verse, The sound of men, comes to me in many ways.
Silence
David Herbert Lawrence
Since I lost you I am silence-haunted,
Sounds wave their little wings
A moment, then in weariness settle
On the flood that soundless swings.
Whether the people in the street
Like pattering ripples go by,
Or whether the theatre sighs and sighs
With a loud, hoarse sigh:
Or the wind shakes a ravel of light
Over the dead-black river,
Or night’s last echoing
Makes the daybreak shiver:
I feel the silence waiting
To take them all up again
In its vast completeness, enfolding
The sound of men.

I chose this photo for a poem called Silence. It looks confident, but I wanted to show you bending down and looking up without saying anything. There are many things you want, but I think it's an image that shows your will to never say anything forever because you can't achieve it. 😎
Today, I transcribed a song that is very beautiful and has an autumn vibe.
The song by HYNN, a very good singer and beautiful female singer who is active in Korea, is a new song that has just been released.
I got to know this song through the radio. I was so moved as soon as I heard this song while listening to SBS's "Bae 10," so I transcribed the lyrics of this song and still listen to it.
As you will know when you listen to it, the melody is so beautiful and it has an atmosphere reminiscent of the sunset light of autumn. The music video also mainly features people singing at a bus station surrounded by sunset light. Of course, it's not an official music video, but I actually like it more.

Let's watch the music video first and upload my transcription video.
오늘 노을이 예뻐서
I transcribed the English lyrics in this music video. I expect the meaning and beauty of the lyrics to be conveyed well in English, but I am not sure if it will work out.
I have been photographing as a hobby and I am active in Guri,Korea. For my own expression method, I take various flower photos and use a scanner to work on photography. So a small flower in the soil became a pleasant secret in my heart.
