This poem that I've just posted here is a poem that I wrote in early December.
The President illegally declared a martial law on Dec. 3, but conscientious South Korean soldiers protested the president's order and many citizens blocked it, ultimately failing the martial law.
As I watched this process, I thought that the emergency martial law failed as a result of our nation's soldiers protesting against orders from illegal and unreasonable superiors and failing to follow directions properly.
On that cold winter night, I wrote down this poem, imagining that these soldiers would have hesitated and balked very much at the orders of their irrational superiors.

My disobedience_20241203
heart-wrenching cold wind
leaning his helmet against the rattling window
with a deep sigh
Tightened my boots with all my strength
Couldn't take a step further
Knew I was suffocating
Have the strength to stand in my place and endure it
Thought it would break like a wilted flower
That heavy step
It's been a slow, slow walk
_ You are not guilty

I linked a Cosmos photo here. I picked a photo that was a tiny, slender flower but looked like it was rebelling.
2024 was a year full of many changes and great twists and turns for me, and I think the Republic of Korea also had a very difficult time. Our country could have sunk with just one mistake. The people of the Republic of Korea and the National Assembly ran to Yeouido to prevent this, and the soldiers of the country defended the democracy that their seniors had built up under the name of mutiny.
In that sense, I wrote down this humble article.
Right now, here in the Republic of Korea is very politically unstable, but with the democratic power of the people of the Republic of Korea, we just impeached the president.
last Tuesday, South Korea's president declared a state of emergency, but the people ran to the National Assembly to block the entry of police and soldiers, and lawmakers lifted the state of emergency after democratic procedures.
The picture I posted today is a picture that shows the hope of democracy.
The hope of democracy
The hope of democracy
The method of voting in the National Assembly was done in a democratic and calm manner. Numerous people are gathered in front of the National Assembly to support and watch the vote on the impeachment of the president of Korea.
Today will go down as a historic moment and will be remembered as a proud day of South Korea leading liberal democracy..
In fact, I wrote this article in advance last Saturday and was waiting for it, but I couldn't post it because the impeachment bill of the Korean president failed to pass the National Assembly. I am so grateful and grateful to the Korean people that I was able to post this article today.
On the day the president of Korea here declared emergency martial law, I received an email saying that I received an award at this photo exhibition.
On this day, I didn't even know I had an email because I kept watching the news about this disturbing situation.
Here in Korea, we are still in a state of political instability. Still, I am very grateful that the people of our country fortunately prevented emergency martial law. π
In 2022 and 2023, I received the HM in this photo exhibit. Still, I'm so happy to receive the statue this year.

'This is a picture that I took on June 11, 2023, at Jangja Lake Park in Guri. It was amazing because it bloomed early in the cosmos. It was a mysterious experience like a fairy tale.'
Also, I made a video of how to get to this page. It's a very short and simple video. π
I have been photographing as a hobby and I am active in Guri,Korea. For my own expression method, I take various flower photos and use a scanner to work on photography. So a small flower in the soil became a pleasant secret in my heart.
