I'm studying Russian again these days. I stopped after learning for a long time, but I started practicing letters and conversations again.

Russian is funny in pronunciation and beautiful in the shape of the letters, which I see.

Лунная ночь  -  Владимир Маяковский

Будет луна.

Есть уже

немножко.

А вот и полная повисла в воздухе.

Это бог, должно быть,

дивной

серебряной ложкой

роется в звезд ухе.

1916

I also transcribed an English translation of this poem. The poem is written in a very simple and concise style, and it is not difficult to understand the content.

Moonlit night - Vladimir Mayakovsky

Moonlit Night

The moon is emerging.

It going to be here

soon.

Now, it hangs in the air, full and stark.

That is probably God,

with a divine

silver spoon,

groping in the fish-soup of stars.

1916

I'm still not good enough to write very long sentences in Russian, but I'll keep learning the language and try to write a little longer. That's why I still like short texts more.

The poem I transcribed today is a poem titled [Flower being carried in a funeral car] by poet Jeong Ho-seung.

These days, Korea is experiencing a very deep winter. The economic situation is not good in politics, but there are many people who are facing the end of their lives due to the flu.
Perhaps that's why there are so many people in funeral homes and crematoriums that they have to wait for their turn.
It's really sad.

I went to the funeral because my relative passed away in the early fall of this year. I paid my respects and went to the crematorium together to attend the procession.
I had a lot of thoughts. I'm also not old, so I thought I might be the main character of that funeral soon.

What direction is my life going? Will the same thing happen if I imagine myself a year or a week from now? Or will it flow in a completely different direction?
It's a night where my thoughts grow.

This time, I'm going to deal with a poem about heaven. It's very short and concise, but it depicts heaven as a beautiful place. Also, he doesn't think living in heaven will be fun or happy.

I went to heaven   By Emily Dickinson

I went to heaven,
'T was a small town,
Lit with a ruby,
Lathed with down.
Stiller than the fields
At the full dew,
Beautiful as pictures
No man drew.
People like the moth,
Of mechlin, frames,
Duties of gossamer,
And eider names.
Almost contented
I could be
'Mong such unique
Society.

For many religions, heaven is the most ideal area, it is also called paradise, and it is the most perfect place to be religiously imagined.
On a snowy day like today, I think it may look like a beautiful place where white snow has fallen and turned white.

I went to heaven

I post videos and photos of this poem transcribed.

         The original manuscript

Originally, I thought the original photo was more fantastically compatible with heaven, but now that I posted it here, it looks a little weird.  😂😒

I received one email today that said I won two Honourable Mentions at Tokyo International Foto Awards.  I applied for two works for this year's 2024 contest and I'm so happy to receive both awards. I'm a little upset because I received only one email even though I received two awards.  🤣😂

The title of the first piece is Come Out of The Shade Into The Sun

The content of the writing at the bottom is like this.

This year, I welcomed a new morning in my life. I post it here because the flower in the picture looks like it has bloomed in the morning when it opens a new dawn.

I have been photographing as a hobby and I am active in Guri,Korea. For my own expression method, I take various flower photos and use a scanner to work on photography. So a small flower in the soil became a pleasant secret in my heart.

You can see the second picture below.

The writing below is like this.

In my dream, I saw walking on the field path of autumn. It wasn't that sunny, but I think only good things will happen if I walk along the path where the cosmos is blooming.

Anyway, today is a very good day. The economy is bad these days and the situation in our country is unstable, but I hope many good things will happen this year.  🙏
