If I can stop one heart from breaking  By Emily Dickinson

Maybe because it rained all day yesterday, the morning when I met early in the morning was full of moisture.

Roses bloom very beautifully in Korea in May. So I washed my face, dressed, and dragged my bike out to meet white, yellow, or reddish roses early on Saturday morning, but I didn't have them.

These days, it was too cold for spring, so the roses have not yet bloomed. I left the place with regret, but I couldn't come back home, so I wandered around again.
Then I discovered a water lily blooming in a very small pond. Rather, it was even more fortunate for me. I was very pleased with this water lily, perhaps because I never thought it would be in bloom.

Moreover, the morning sun was shining so beautifully, and yesterday's rain swept away the dust, making the water lilies cleaner and cleaner.

I took a lot of pictures. I didn't feel the sign of time passing because it's been a long time since I held the camera.

It was such a beautiful day.

If I can stop one heart from breaking

                             By Emily Dickinson

If I can stop one heart from breaking

I shall not live in vain;

If I can ease one life the aching,

Or cool one pain,

Or help one fainting robin

Unto his nest,

I shall not live in vain.

If I can stop one heart from breaking  By Emily Dickinson

This poem is a concise and very moving poem. I interpreted it as a worry and belief about my value that exists in this world.
If I can be a hope and comfort to someone in my life, I think there is something more beautiful than this.

Transcribing this poem, I wrote it down using my newly purchased fountain pen. The writing felt soft and fine. You'll need to adjust a little more to the lid, but it seems like a decent handmade fountain pen.  ✍

The poem I transcribed today is called the Power of Stopping.

In our daily lives, we go forward and forward indefinitely, and we end our days without much time to relax. In the meantime, I sometimes think about stopping altogether rather than stopping for a while.
Of course, there may be people who are unintentionally stopping their daily lives for a while. However, this does not mean that life is cut off or extinguished.
If you feel that way, it might be helpful to read this poem once and pause it if you are left behind and think that you are the only one who is unhappy.

The Power of Stopping / Baekmusan

The power to stop a train, with that power the train runs

The power to stop time, with that power we go to the future

The freedom not to do something, and because of that we know what to do

The freedom not to become something, with that power we run

The power to stop the world, with that power we run

When we reach a standstill, we know why we run

Stop like a seed, flowers bloom with the power of stopping

I haven't been able to post a blog because I've been studying for a while. I'll try to post more often in the future.
