Wendy Cope is a female poet, born in Kent, England. She worked as an elementary school teacher for 14 years and has been a freelance writer since then. She has published books by writing in various fields, but her poetry collection was the most popular.

If you read this poem, it is humorous, but it contains deep meaning. It expresses that he hoped the man he loves would give him flowers, but he couldn't for various reasons, and he hopes to understand him and leave him as a good memory.
So I chose this picture because I wanted to express how I was giving flowers to my loved one.

Flowers  /  Wendy Cope

Some men never think of it.

You did. You’d come along

And say you’d nearly brought me flowers

But something had gone wrong.

The shop was closed. Or you had doubts –

The sort that minds like ours

Dream up incessantly. You thought

I might not want your flowers.

It made me smile and hug you then.

Now I can only smile.

But, look, the flowers you nearly brought

Have lasted all this while.

The pen I used to transcribe this poem today is Waterman's Hemisphere. The ink also used Waterman's Black Ink.
I enjoyed the process of transcribing because the language of the poem was simple and fun.

I don't edit the Experiment 18 method often, but I like the scanning this time. If you want to see more about the Experiment 18 editing method, you can refer to my blog post.

Thank you so much for reading my article again today. 🙏🙏

Михаи́л Ю́рьевич Ле́рмонтов is a poet and novelist from an aristocratic family born in Moscow, Russia. He wrote poems, novels, and plays in 1829, when he was already 15 years old, and excelled in other academic fields.

When Alexander Pushkin died, his poem Death of the Poet became so famous that it became known, but he was demoted for a while because he was hated by the emperor.

Strangely, his fate resembled Pushkin's. He was asked to fight a duel at a young age and died.

This poem is beautiful and famous, but the atmosphere is a little gloomy and gloomy. It reminds me of people I miss on my way alone and sometimes leans my mind against nature.

This famous poem has been remade into a song by Анна Герман(Anna German) and became even more famous. I listened to this song, and I heard a clear voice and a song that contained deep longing and sadness very calmly.

Выхожу один я на дорогу;

Сквозь туман кремнистый путь блестит;

И не жаль мне прошлого ничуть;

Чтоб, дыша, вздымалась тихо грудь;

Maybe because the song is so calm, I chose a picture that reveals loneliness by myself. The original picture of this picture is below.

When I transcribed Russian poetry this time, I wrote it with a pencil. That pencil was made by myself by sharpening it with a knife.

Actually, I got confused in the middle of writing, so I erased it with a pencil and rewritten it. 🥴🤔  You can see that in the video.

I wish you all the best for reading this today. 🙏

500PX.com is a very famous site for sharing photos. It's been a little less than two years since I joined and used this site, but I upload it hard and see high-quality photos of other photographers often.

While posting pictures, I often saw the stories of other photographers' pictures and liked them, but when I tried to create this story, I couldn't see the menu.

I mainly use 500px.com as an app on my iPhone 14 Pro phone. Initially, it was due to the stepwise difference in membership of this community, but I didn't find any mention of it on the site.

At the same time, I searched through the homepage of this 500px.com and found out that I could post pictures on the website, and I could adapt the story based on the pictures I posted.

The way to create and post stories on 500PX.com is to work on your PC.

1) This is my photo menu on the 500px,com homepage.

This is a page where you can upload a picture and see it. Here you upload a picture to create and post each page. Or you can click the upload button at the top right.

2) If you look at the bottom a little bit, you can create a story with my picture on this site by clicking on the menu called 'Stories'.

3) It's a menu that makes the story of my photos, so I can write them based on the photos I posted before.

They are posted in the order of clicking on the photos I posted before. When I post, I tend to make a series of pictures and post them, so it was easy to write this story menu, and I love the story that was created.

4) You can write and post the title and content of the story post separately.

After entering the title and story content, you can post the story on the homepage by pressing the Publish button.

* Pros of Story Writing

- Expressing the order of exhibition of my work that the artist wants to express and the contents of it

- Create a separate title for a group of my photos

* Cons of Story Writing

- The menu name is Story, but the number of characters that can be written is only 500. Maybe it's because it's 500px.com 🤔🥴

- Other Internet page links are not available here. 👎

This community app is inconvenient in many ways, but the quality of the photos posted here is good, so I keep using it. 😅

The community of 500px.com was founded on Oct. 31, 2009, jointly by Oleg Gutsol and Evgeny Tchebotarev. Initially a blog for Evgeny Tchebotarev as a hobby, it developed into an automated system when he met Oleg Gutsol and became popular, becoming known as a world-famous community.

Back in 2009, due to the limitations of Internet technology advancement, the size of high-definition photos that can be uploaded to the web was 500 pixels, so it was named 500px.com at first. Since then, the volume of photos has continued to increase, but the name has been maintained.

It's been a while, but I'm unhappy with this community system. I hope this site is more concerned with improvements for users. 🙏

The poet was a British-born translator and poet, and is said to be well-known as a book buff. Francis William Bourdillon(1852-1921) is well-known for his short poems to be introduced this time, and he wrote novels and various essays.

When I read this poem, I interpreted it as a confession that there are many beautiful and handsome people in the world, but my love is only you.

At the same time, he says that the world ends when one love ends.

It's a very straightforward confession, even though it uses metaphorical metaphors, so this poem must have become a very famous poem.

The night has a thousand eyes   By Francis William Bourdillon

The night has a thousand eyes,

And the day but one;

Yet the light of the bright world dies

With the dying sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,

And the heart but one:

Yet the light of a whole life dies

When love is done.

This picture was taken darkly in the background to give it a night sky-like feeling.

If you look closely at these pictures, you can see white dots that glow like stars in the night sky. In fact, when looking at the stars in the dark night sky, they often look like white dots rather than very shiny.  ✨✨

So I chose this picture because those white dots look like stars to me.

But in fact, those white spots were little dust on the scanner when I scanned the picture. 🤣😂😅🤣

Even if it's a coincidence, I'm glad it works well.

Next, I will post a video of this poem and a picture of the result.

Transcribing The night has a thousand eyes

I've worked on a new experiment 24. I'll post more detailed ways to work on it on my blog later. In fact, it's obvious to me, but I'll post it by increasing the number of characters somehow. 🧐🧐

Those who read my writing until the end will be blessed.  🙏🙏

South Korean poet Han Yong-un was a monk and independence activist in Japanese colonial era.

He played a pivotal role in the history of the Korean independence movement, reforming Buddhism and advocating for participation in reality to practice the independence movement involving Buddhism.

This poem is a good expression of the beauty of pure Hangul. The language of the poem used very simple and beautiful words and was written lightly in the form of a letter.

The poet expressed his desire to always be around the person he admires and loves. The object he loves could be his lover or his country.

As I read this poem, I chose this picture that reminds me of it. I gave the meaning that I wanted to protect compassion by covering it with a cloth pin.

There is a little bit of unreasonable, but I hope you understand it well. 😅😥😊

As expected, Hangul is very difficult to transcribe. The letters themselves are beautiful, but I think I need more practice. 🤣😂

Alexandr Pushkin, Russia's most famous poet, is a poet who doesn't even need to be described in words.

He wrote a lot of concise and clear poetry, and he had a lot of influence on later generations. It was the foundation of Russian realism, and he was later called the father of Russian national literature.

Among his poems, this time, I transcribed a poem that dealt with roses as a direct introduction.

Since this poem is about roses, I tried editing pictures of them. If you read this poem carefully, it seems that the poet expresses feelings of regretting the flowers' loss and not feeling sorry for the aging of youth over time.

Roses that bloom so splendidly in May are honestly quite difficult to capture in pictures. It means that the colors are strong and the shapes are so pretty that it is difficult to capture them properly in pictures.

This picture was not very accurately focused, but the color is strong and the shape is beautiful, so it shows a fantastic appearance.

Now I'm going to show you the results of my transcription of this poem.

I think I lack some Russian transcription practice. I'll try harder from now on.
I made a video of me transcribing this poem.

There's also an introduction on my blog on how to make Experiment 02, so take a look.

https://idea0404.blogspot.com/2024/02/experiment02-guri-city-insect-ecology.html

This poem, which will be covered today, sings about the pain of a breakup. It expresses the heartbreak of a man who was notified of a breakup.

This poet was an English poet who died in World War I. After his death in less than 40, he worked as a book reviewer and did not have a long career as a poet. An artist from rural England who was set on a walking trail seems to have been influenced by this attempt.

Go Now

By Edward Thomas

Like the touch of rain she was

On a man’s flesh and hair and eyes

When the joy of walking thus

Has taken him by surprise:

With the love of the storm he burns,

He sings, he laughs, well I know how,

But forgets when he returns

As I shall not forget her ‘Go now’.

Those two words shut a door

Between me and the blessed rain

That was never shut before

And will not open again.

The main content of this poem is the shock and sadness of separation, so I chose a picture that can convey the feelings of sadness.

This photo was taken at the Han River Civic Park in Guri, Gyeonggi Province on May 1, 2024. The sun was so bright and warm that day, and there was a water spray machine on these flowers, so I could see the flowers that were dripped.

Fujifilm    X-T4    F7.1    1/450s    ISO160

I wrote down the sad poem above with my fountain pen. This pen is Waterman's Hemisphere fountain pen.

And I made a video of me transcribing this poem.

I also transcribed this poem last year, but looking at last year's writing, it's a little bit different from now. I think it's a little bit more refined.

Thank you for listening to my story, so far. 🙏

ABOUT ME

I have been photographing as a hobby and I am active in Guri,Korea. For my own expression method, I take various flower photos and use a scanner to work on photography. So a small flower in the soil became a pleasant secret in my heart.
