Gratitude—is not the mention By Emily Dickinson [ Photo with Poem / Experiment12 ]
This poem tells us how deeply meaningful and noble the word "Gratitude" is.
If it's hard to even bring up a word like this, I guess you've really gotten a lot of help from the other person.
When I read this poem, I thought that the object of Gratitude could be God or Mother Nature. This poem consists of very short lengths and I think each word has a very deep meaning.
I often transcribe these poems from Emily Dickinson. I think the depth of the words is also very concise and expresses the implications well.
Let's take a look at the poem first.
Gratitude—is not the mention By Emily Dickinson
Gratitude—is not the mention
Of a Tenderness,
But its still appreciation
Out of Plumb of Speech.
When the Sea return no Answer
By the Line and Lead
Proves it there’s no Sea, or rather
A remoter Bed?
From now on, I will look for pictures that match this poem.

The reason I chose this photo is nothing but to show how warm it is. I may have chosen it like this because I don't have a lot of warm pictures. 😅

In fact, if you look at the picture, you may wonder why it was edited like this, but in Korea, when delivering flowers of thanks, we often wear a belt around a flowerpot and write a message of thanks and give it as a gift.
Today, I transcribed it with a Twisbi handwriting filled with blue ink.
I captured a video of myself writing it in my notebook, so take a look. 🙏
