Sara Teasdale, the author of this poem, briefly introduced it in my previous article.

https://idea0404.blogspot.com/2024/04/spring-rain-by-sara-teasdale.html

If you read this poem, you can feel the quiet and beautiful energy of June night. This poet is expressing the quiet and stable atmosphere of June as she stays up all night.

              June Night

                      By Sara Teasdale

OH Earth, you are too dear to-night,

How can I sleep while all around

Floats rainy fragrance and the far

Deep voice of the ocean that talks to the ground?

Oh Earth, you gave me all I have,

I love you, I love you,—oh what have I

That I can give you in return—

Except my body after I die?

Experiment03 - Post it / B&W

Experiment03 - Post it / Color

This poem gives a calm and stable feeling of the night air, so I chose the picture above. The rain photo was taken by bursting a flash with an umbrella when it rains, showing the atmosphere as if it were taken at night.

In addition, I added elements that could attract more attention with the Experiment03 post-it work method.

I transcribed using Tombow's Playcolor 2 brown pen. This pen is easy to write very smoothly. It shows a soft brown color, which is not too dark. If you open the other side, you will get a thick pen. You can write thin or thick. There are many colors, so you can buy them according to your taste.

Experiment03 - Post-it | Flower Photo Lab (idea0404.blogspot.com)

This is a poet I introduced on my blog a while ago. Let me share the blog first.

https://idea0404.blogspot.com/2024/05/transcription-of-go-now-by-edward.html

The poem is said to have been written in a rainy trench when he participated in World War I as a soldier.

The very next year after writing this poem, this poet was killed in war.

I feel like it's a poem depicting himself against fear and fear that he don't know when his life will end.

I think it's a poem that expresses the frustration and fear of being trapped in a dark and long tunnel very delicately.

Rain   BY EDWARD THOMAS

Rain, midnight rain, nothing but the wild rain

On this bleak hut, and solitude, and me

Remembering again that I shall die

And neither hear the rain nor give it thanks

For washing me cleaner than I have been

Since I was born into this solitude.

Blessed are the dead that the rain rains upon:

But here I pray that none whom once I loved

Is dying tonight or lying still awake

Solitary, listening to the rain,

Either in pain or thus in sympathy

Helpless among the living and the dead,

Like a cold water among broken reeds,

Myriads of broken reeds all still and stiff,

Like me who have no love which this wild rain

Has not dissolved except the love of death,

If love it be towards what is perfect and

Cannot, the tempest tells me, disappoint.

Experiment02 B&W

The atmosphere of this poem is very heavy and has gone away, so I chose the picture above.

The original picture also seems to express a very depressing situation.

Original B&W

I used Waterman's Hemisphere fountain pen as I transcribed the poem above.

First of all, I'll show you a transcription video this time.

This poem is composed of short sentences, and instead, the whole length is long. Blackwater Pond is a freshwater pond that is formed of real sand. It was said that she could often see it where she lived. The forest around the pond was called Blackwater Woods.

Reading this poem, we can see that it shows the poet's deep thoughts on human life and death. These thoughts are thought to have a little oriental perspective.

So, I'll take a picture of the water lily flower
I tried to express the feeling.

Lotus and water lilies bloom all over the world, but they have a more special meaning, especially in Northeast Asia. They are often cited in Buddhism and often appear in myths and fairy tales.

The reason why I put tape on the photo in Experiment24 is to express my willingness to keep the natural passage of Mother Nature's time in this photo.

Now, let me show you the full text of this poem and the original copy that I transcribed.

In blackwater woods  By Mary Oliver

Look, the trees

are turning

their own bodies

into pillars

of light,

are giving off the rich

fragrance of cinnamon

and fulfillment,

the long tapers

of cattails

are bursting and floating away over

the blue shoulders

of the ponds,

and every pond,

no matter what its

name is, is

nameless now.

Every year

everything

I have ever learned

in my lifetime

leads back to this: the fires

and the black river of loss

whose other side

is salvation,

whose meaning

none of us will ever know.

To live in this world

you must be able

to do three things:

to love what is mortal;

to hold it

against your bones knowing

your own life depends on it;

and, when the time comes to let it go,

to let it go.

The pen I used while transcribing this poem is Tom Bowser's Play Color 2 Brown.

This photo was taken at Guri Hangang Civic Park on May 6, 2024. At that time, water lilies were just starting to bloom and looked so beautiful.

I pray that those of you who read my writing to the end will be filled with good luck today.  🙏🙏

Magnum Photos is accepting applications for new members.

This sentence is an advertisement that shows the main content of the contest. You can go to the main page of the contest and see it.

And even this contest is free. Wow 😳

It's a Magnumphotos community that anyone who likes photography to a certain extent has heard of, and it's a contest to recruit new members from the magazine. If selected, you'll be eligible for membership after a four-year curriculum.

But as I read the recruiting guidelines for the competition, I thought that this was not a competition that I could challenge. It was so high that I started to get scared, but since it was free, I decided to give it a try and put it into practice. 🤣😂😅

This very famously named photo contest is a free contest site that I mentioned on the page I wrote before, so I link that page.

4. picter.com

You can sign up for this site and submit your work as a series.

https://submit.picter.com/home

You can see the requirements above when you apply. The requirements are simpler than you think.

When I see this black and white picture, it makes me imagine that I wish I was in that member

I heard that I can apply for at least two projects, so I wrote an application focusing on my blog post.

The title of the project can be created by writing down the contents after you post all the pictures, so you have to be a little patient.

I tried to apply by writing only two projects to meet the minimum requirements.

I'm applying because I don't deserve to be selected for this membership, so I think I'll get experience to apply even if I know it's useless.

Next time, I will look for a more practical and challenging contest and introduce it to you.  🙏🙏

Wendy Cope is a female poet, born in Kent, England. She worked as an elementary school teacher for 14 years and has been a freelance writer since then. She has published books by writing in various fields, but her poetry collection was the most popular.

If you read this poem, it is humorous, but it contains deep meaning. It expresses that he hoped the man he loves would give him flowers, but he couldn't for various reasons, and he hopes to understand him and leave him as a good memory.
So I chose this picture because I wanted to express how I was giving flowers to my loved one.

Flowers  /  Wendy Cope

Some men never think of it.

You did. You’d come along

And say you’d nearly brought me flowers

But something had gone wrong.

The shop was closed. Or you had doubts –

The sort that minds like ours

Dream up incessantly. You thought

I might not want your flowers.

It made me smile and hug you then.

Now I can only smile.

But, look, the flowers you nearly brought

Have lasted all this while.

The pen I used to transcribe this poem today is Waterman's Hemisphere. The ink also used Waterman's Black Ink.
I enjoyed the process of transcribing because the language of the poem was simple and fun.

I don't edit the Experiment 18 method often, but I like the scanning this time. If you want to see more about the Experiment 18 editing method, you can refer to my blog post.

Thank you so much for reading my article again today. 🙏🙏

Михаи́л Ю́рьевич Ле́рмонтов is a poet and novelist from an aristocratic family born in Moscow, Russia. He wrote poems, novels, and plays in 1829, when he was already 15 years old, and excelled in other academic fields.

When Alexander Pushkin died, his poem Death of the Poet became so famous that it became known, but he was demoted for a while because he was hated by the emperor.

Strangely, his fate resembled Pushkin's. He was asked to fight a duel at a young age and died.

This poem is beautiful and famous, but the atmosphere is a little gloomy and gloomy. It reminds me of people I miss on my way alone and sometimes leans my mind against nature.

This famous poem has been remade into a song by Анна Герман(Anna German) and became even more famous. I listened to this song, and I heard a clear voice and a song that contained deep longing and sadness very calmly.

Выхожу один я на дорогу  /  Михаил Лермонтов

Выхожу один я на дорогу;

Сквозь туман кремнистый путь блестит;

И не жаль мне прошлого ничуть;

Я ищу свободы и покоя!

Я б хотел забыться и заснуть!

Но не тем холодным сном могилы...

Я б желал навеки так заснуть,

Чтоб в груди дремали жизни силы,

Чтоб, дыша, вздымалась тихо грудь;

Чтоб всю ночь, весь день мой слух лелея,

Про любовь мне сладкий голос пел,

Надо мной чтоб, вечно зеленея,

Темный дуб склонялся и шумел.

Выхожу один я на дорогу

Maybe because the song is so calm, I chose a picture that reveals loneliness by myself. The original picture of this picture is below.

When I transcribed Russian poetry this time, I wrote it with a pencil. That pencil was made by myself by sharpening it with a knife.

Actually, I got confused in the middle of writing, so I erased it with a pencil and rewritten it. 🥴🤔  You can see that in the video.

I wish you all the best for reading this today. 🙏

500PX.com is a very famous site for sharing photos. It's been a little less than two years since I joined and used this site, but I upload it hard and see high-quality photos of other photographers often.

While posting pictures, I often saw the stories of other photographers' pictures and liked them, but when I tried to create this story, I couldn't see the menu.

I mainly use 500px.com as an app on my iPhone 14 Pro phone. Initially, it was due to the stepwise difference in membership of this community, but I didn't find any mention of it on the site.

At the same time, I searched through the homepage of this 500px.com and found out that I could post pictures on the website, and I could adapt the story based on the pictures I posted.

The way to create and post stories on 500PX.com is to work on your PC.

1) This is my photo menu on the 500px,com homepage.

This is a page where you can upload a picture and see it. Here you upload a picture to create and post each page. Or you can click the upload button at the top right.

2) If you look at the bottom a little bit, you can create a story with my picture on this site by clicking on the menu called 'Stories'.

3) It's a menu that makes the story of my photos, so I can write them based on the photos I posted before.

They are posted in the order of clicking on the photos I posted before. When I post, I tend to make a series of pictures and post them, so it was easy to write this story menu, and I love the story that was created.

4) You can write and post the title and content of the story post separately.

After entering the title and story content, you can post the story on the homepage by pressing the Publish button.

* Pros of Story Writing

- Expressing the order of exhibition of my work that the artist wants to express and the contents of it

- Create a separate title for a group of my photos

* Cons of Story Writing

- The menu name is Story, but the number of characters that can be written is only 500. Maybe it's because it's 500px.com 🤔🥴

- Other Internet page links are not available here. 👎

This community app is inconvenient in many ways, but the quality of the photos posted here is good, so I keep using it. 😅

The community of 500px.com was founded on Oct. 31, 2009, jointly by Oleg Gutsol and Evgeny Tchebotarev. Initially a blog for Evgeny Tchebotarev as a hobby, it developed into an automated system when he met Oleg Gutsol and became popular, becoming known as a world-famous community.

Back in 2009, due to the limitations of Internet technology advancement, the size of high-definition photos that can be uploaded to the web was 500 pixels, so it was named 500px.com at first. Since then, the volume of photos has continued to increase, but the name has been maintained.

It's been a while, but I'm unhappy with this community system. I hope this site is more concerned with improvements for users. 🙏
